Cabin Fever Strikes!

Well, the third straight day of being cooped up in the ol’ house lends itself to a little mayhem and craziness–and today was no different. Got a call late this morning from Jenny that Taylor and Tucker were jumping on the bed. . .

And you know how the song goes right?? Well, Dr. Fussleman, which we absolutely love, sings “the bad version” of the song. “Two little monkeys jumping on the bed, went to the doctor and the doctor said, ‘that’s what happens when you jump on the bed.'”

It really wasn’t that bad, but we got him “glued” up and he is good to go. He really did well getting a little shave and glued up! He got a sucker for being such a brave boy and of course Taylor got one too for simply being the big brother. Of course Taylor didn’t like it because it was sugar free–he’s my kid for crying out loud. Tucker didn’t care or didn’t know it was sugar free and had dark blue lips half the night.

We should have school tomorrow! And all the parents said, “Amen!” But mom, there is another storm coming tomorrow night! So Friday could be a scratch as well. We may be in school through June at the rate we are going. They don’t build in snow days anymore. I used to think we had a good week of days built in. ‘Course that was back when we walked uphill both ways in the snow.
