Friday is for . . . farkling
Tucker came home the other day and said, “we can’t play Rock-Paper-Scissors at preschool.” Now, I’m sure there is a good reason for this. Maybe it causes a lot of arguments and it’s not just that game that is banned from the classroom. It could be that it wasn’t an complete ban of the game from the entire school–maybe just the classroom. But, if Tucker is any indication, it has been banned from the school because the boy simply doesn’t know the rules and gets mad at his brother and just punches him in the gut!!
Check out this online game that the New York Times created and test your prowess at the great game.
I remember that we used to call it “farkle” when I was in college. When I was in the Bruin Pride Band at MSU, farkling was a daily occurrence, if not hourly. You would hear, “I’ll farkle you for it.” It got pretty bad, honestly. One of those deals of “I dare you” turned really bad. Many a car grill was licked, weed eaten, “pre-chewed” gum chewed for the second time, etc. Absolutely disgusting for sure!
What about you? What was the craziest thing you have ever “farkled” for?
